4. App infrastructure
The data you enter in the Depression app (moods, questionnaire, journal, safety plan, trusted contacts, treatments, conversations with Kolo) is stored in encrypted form on your phone, not on our servers.
Server-side processing (the Kolo assistant's answers, usage limits, messages sent to the team) is handled by functions hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), in the europe-west1 region (Belgium), with a database located in Europe. With your consent, Kolo's answers are written by a third-party artificial intelligence service (OpenAI), configured to process data in Europe. Details of the processing are set out in the privacy policy.
5. Mobile app
The Depression app (identifier com.devolim.depression) is published by BAUGEY MATHEO and distributed through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google). The publisher is solely responsible for the content and operation of the app; the distribution platforms act as technical intermediaries and as sellers of in-app purchases.
6. Nature of the service
Depression is a wellbeing and self-help tool. It is not a medical device: it makes no diagnosis, prescribes no treatment and does not replace a health professional. It is not an emergency service: the app does not monitor anyone and does not alert anyone on your behalf. See the health disclaimer and the terms of use and sale.
7. Intellectual property
All the elements of this website and of the app (texts, lessons, exercises, audio recordings, interface, visual identity, illustrations, animations, code, the Kolo character and the name of the app) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher, with the exception of the third-party elements mentioned below. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or use, in whole or in part, without prior written permission, is prohibited and would constitute infringement within the meaning of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

9. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement or advertising tracking tools. The fonts are hosted with the website: your browser does not contact any font, advertising or measurement service. No consent banner is therefore needed.
